Waterproof Tension Membrane Sails - Cook and Phillip Aquatic and Fitness Centre

This job was a great example of how cleverly designed outdoor additions mean more space to do business. Waterproof tension sails for Cook + Phillip Aquatic and Fitness Centre created opportunities that didn’t exist before.

The Centre wanted to expand their fitness space. For this they needed weatherproof coverage and room for storage of equiptment.

We designed and engineered waterproof PVC sails. They provided excellent shade and kept the area below dry, allowing it to be used for storage by sealing the attachment to the walls.

The end result provided more than 120 square metres of additional trading area for the venue.

Our work also includes shade sails, playground shade, tension membrane structures, waterproof shadecloth, custom awnings, custom netting, safety netting, fall netting, construction safety netting, stage cloth and curtains, theatrical drapes, and custom fabric artwork.
